Wednesday 21 January 2015

A Jersey-based female care products company has completed a deal to acquire the customers of online competitor Trinket Women Limited for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition comes less than six months after TOTM was launched and in a very competitive industry.

Trinkets has been active in the UK market for more than four years and was recently valued at £1.3 million The business will cease trading this year as TOTM take on responsibility for servicing their client base.

TOTM was created to provide a truly 100% pure organic range and products contain no dioxins, pesticides, chlorine and artificial dyes instead the products are designed with women’s health and the environment in mind.

Co-founder Kate Herbert said: "We’re absolutely delighted to have acquired the Trinkets customer data and represents a very exciting time for the company. We have been working on this project for some time with the Trinkets team and we believe there is clear synergy between the two brands’ core values. This is a major step forward for TOTM and adds a significant number of new customers to our fast growing customer base. Trinkets has a fantastic reputation and a loyal client base and we look forward to welcoming the new customers to the TOTM family."
