Two Jersey business leaders have been highly commended for their skills and talents at a recent awards ceremony in London.

Four other Jersey individuals were also shortlisted: SME Company Director of the Year – Alexandra Morel, Managing Director, ALX Training, and Glenda Rivoallan, Founder and Director, Helathhaus Ltd; Young Director of the Year – Richard Summerfield, Group Human Resources Director, JT Group; and International Director of the Year, Eamon Philip Fenlon, Managing Director, Jersey Diary.

It’s the sixth year Jersey has entered the awards. Over the years the Island has won five titles.

Chris Clark, IoD Jersey Chair, said: “Jersey has a really strong track record in terms of the winners of our Director of the Year Awards going on to do well at the IoD’s national awards and this year was no exception. Both Lesley and Doug both thoroughly deserve this recognition having shown fantastic enthusiasm, creativity and innovation in guiding their very different organisations. This provides a good illustration of the kind of diverse leadership we are fortunate to have in Jersey.”
