Jersey Dairy recognised at Great British Food Awards

Jersey Dairy's ice cream has won an award at the Great British Food Awards 2020, which were judged by a panel of celebrity chefs, critics, food writers and influential buyers.

Its Luxury Soft Mix Ice Cream took the title in the South West category, with judges highlighting the company's history and strong provenance dating back to 1763.

The ice cream is sold both locally and around the world.  

“This is a remarkable and well-deserved achievement that we are all very proud of," Jersey Dairy's Managing Director, Eamon Fenlon, said.

"Since the launch of our Luxury Soft Mix Ice Cream into the UK in 2012 our sales have increased substantially each and every year.

"British consumers have recognised the natural, nutritious and delicious taste of ice cream made with the finest Jersey milk from our pedigree herds."
