The Jersey Hospitality Association has elected a new President and management committee as they plan to introduce a ‘fresh vision’ for their 60th year.

Fiona Kerley, Managing Director of the Ommaroo Hotel, is the new chief.

She said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of President and excited by the prospect of this new challenge! The new Management Committee is made up of a balance of industry professionals from across the hospitality sector, opening new doors to grow our membership and increase the ‘voice’ of hospitality across Jersey & the Channel Islands.”

“The JHA boasts a rich past and most recently can be proud of its involvement in the foundation of Visit Jersey! We will be increasing support for our members, and the industry in general to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of both our local customers/guests and visitors from the UK and overseas. By working closely with our colleagues at Visit Jersey we will ensure Jersey hospitality businesses live up to the ‘Island break’ promise.”
