Jersey Post has customer branding all wrapped up

Jersey Post is taking customers’ messages direct to market with a new service offering its fleet of modern vans as mobile "billboards", following a successful pilot scheme.

Using the latest vehicle wrapping techniques, businesses can now use the backs of Jersey Post vans to advertise or promote their brand, products and services in a move which is believed to be a first for a postal services company in Great Britain.

Nick Perchard-Rees, fleet manager at Jersey Post said: ‘We are a public utility company and also a commercial business so we need to develop our products and services for our customers, as well as finding ways to increase our revenue streams. Our vans are on the road throughout the day all over the Island and they represent an excellent medium for advertisers. We can also offer customers the opportunity to select which areas of the Island they would like their messages or brand to be seen, so any campaign can be very targeted."

The US postal service has been selling space on its vehicles since 2011 and the move has proved very successful, both with commercial businesses and government agencies wishing to promote, for example, road safety messages.

Jersey Post branding will remain on the sides and front of the vans so that Islanders can easily identify who the vehicle belongs to. More information on the service can be found at www.jerseypost.com/vanadvertising.
