Jersey voted IFC of the Year at Citywealth Awards for third consecutive time

Jersey has been successful once again in being named the International Financial Centre (IFC) of the Year in the Citywealth IFC Awards 2015, the third consecutive year Jersey has been judged the leading jurisdiction.

The Citywealth IFC Awards were established to highlight the expertise and service excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector in major IFCs. Several of Jersey Finance’s member firms were well represented at the awards with winners including RBC Wealth Management for "Trust Company of the Year - Jersey", and Bedell Cristin for "Law firm of the Year - Jersey".

Richard Nunn, Jersey Finance’s Business Development Director, UK, received the award at the ceremony, which was hosted by Citywealth, a leading events and publishing group, on Wednesday 21 January in London. The awards were judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors.

To have won the award each year since it was introduced is testament to the consistent ability of the jurisdiction to evolve, attract new business from around the world and introduce new products, while still retaining a strong reputation for the quality of its regulation and for the provision of high quality financial services globally."

Last year Jersey was judged top jurisdiction in four leading media organisation awards. In addition to the Citywealth award in 2014, Jersey took the honours in Investment Week’s  award for "Best Fund Administration Centre" for the second consecutive year, the Wealthbriefing European award for "International Finance Centre of the Year", also for the second consecutive year, and Professional Adviser International Fund and Product award for "Best International Finance Centre of the Year."
