Project 52, a new members’ club comprised of 52 members from the local business community, has launched its a new bar in Waterloo Lane.
The club secured its licence in March this year. Since then a renovation project has been underway with the top floor of the club consisting of a lounge and meeting room, exclusive to the club’s 52 members. Project 52 also invites non-members into the downstairs bar and lounge.
General Manager, Cristian Benta,commented:
“It’s fantastic to finally have the bar open for business. Project 52 prides itself on its individuality and inclusivity so we’ve had a lot of amazing support from members of the local business community and beyond. In terms of the club’s look, vibe and overall conception, it is very different from Jersey’s other members’ clubs in so many ways.
"Project 52 breaks down traditionalist views, in that its membership is made up of both men and women. We also extend a warm welcome to non-members, taking inspiration from some of London’s more modern establishments in our vision and aesthetic. Now we’ve officially launched, I’m excited to open our doors to the public and see their reactions. I’m also especially looking forward to realising Project 52 members’ ‘dream club’ visions when it comes to the members’ weeks in January.”
