The 2014 Jersey telephone directory is being delivered by Jersey Post this month to Island homes and businesses.
A further 10,000 copies which will be available for collection from Grande Marché St Helier, Broad Street Post Office, Postal HQ Rue des Prés, and Durrell Wildlife Park in Trinity. The front cover features the inning photograph of a competition run by JT, ‘Kite Flyer’ by Mark Juste.
The new directory has reverted to its usual old format and no longer contains listings for the Bailiwick of Guernsey. That information can now be found online at www.jtdirectory.com and also through JT Insight and the JT directory App.
Tamara O’Brien, Head of Marketing, Brand and Distribution at telecoms provider JT, said: “Moving our Guernsey listings online is overall in line with our digital strategy but is also in direct response to feedback we received from our customers. Despite seeing a huge increase in people using our digital directories and our smartphone App, customers in Jersey have told us that they still want a printed version, so we remain committed to producing a printed directory in Jersey which we are proud of and pleased to continue to deliver free of charge.”
JT estimates that 60,000 copies of the directory will be distributed by Jersey Post to residential and business addresses. Additional copies can be obtained for a suggested minimum donation of £1 with all proceeds going to Durrell.
Old directories can be recycled at Grande Marché St Helier, Jersey Post in Broad Street and Rue Des Prés, Durrell and parish Halls (except St John) and primary schools.
