Law at Work gets CPD approval

Wednesday 01 March 2017

Law at Work has become the largest business in the Channel Islands to become a member of the CPD Certification Service.

To become a member of the service, the continuing professional development (CPD) training run by LAW had to be fully audited and endorsed by the CPD accreditation service.

Jon Savage, Deputy Managing Director of The CPD Certification Service, said: “We are delighted to have approved Law at Work as a Member of The CPD Certification Service.”

“We understand that our accreditation helps organisations formalise knowledge into a structured and recognised approach to meet the growing expectation of professionals undergoing CDP. Membership means that LAW’s formally certified CPD materials are likely to become accepted and welcomed by new and existing clients.”

Lorna Pestana, Director of LAW, said: “CPD has become a catch-all phrase for professional training but it is, in fact, a formal process that has to have an approved methodology, structure and method of assessment. Now that LAW is a Member of The CPD Certification Service, our clients can be assured that our training meets and surpasses the required standard. We’re very proud to be the largest in the Channel Islands.”
