Local firm launches intelligent 'chatbot'

Wednesday 27 March 2019

Local digital services firm Yozobi has launched its first commercial chatbot for the real estate industry.

Working with Le Rossignol Estates, Yozobi built the bot - otherwise known as an automated customer services agent - to operate across the estate agent's social messaging platforms, including Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.

The chatbot will allow visitors to register with the agency, search through available properties within the social app and automatically book in a valuation or property viewing without needing to speak to a human agent.

An automated appointment confirmation and SMS reminder will be sent following the booking process using the chatbot.

Dan Cattermole, CEO at Yozobi, commented, “The chatbot technology we have implemented in partnership with Le Rossignol Estates will make the whole process of organizing property valuations and viewings incredibly convenient, and additionally, available to customers to book on the digital channels they increasingly prefer, such as Facebook Messenger.

"The chatbot can even understand the digital visitor’s intent so would, for example, understand if the customer stated they wanted to view a property ‘next Thursday’.”
