NatWest International is celebrating the £2.5m transformation of its two St. Helier branches with a series of events at its flagship branch at Library Place.
The updated branch will be officially opened by the Deputy Chief Minister, Andrew Green MBE, at 11:00.
The new branch design allows customers to choose how they bank, from a self service automation wall to a new iPad station, where customers can access their online banking. If customers need to speak to a member of staff, they can still go to a counter and talk to a cashier or make an appointment with one of the bank’s Customer Service Officers.
As part of the transformation, a number of customer improvements have been implemented, including the latest state of the art cash machines, 'Coin-In' machines for customers to count coins and deposit them free of charge, and a business bag drop. All features have been designed to reduce queuing and waiting time for customers.

Both of the St Helier branches also now display photographs of Jersey, showcasing the island at its best.
Alan Weir, Head of Retail Banking commented: “We’re delighted with our newly designed branches; they make it easier for us to connect with our customers. Now we can have a face to face conversation with our customers about their financial needs, instead of struggling to hear through a pane of glass.”
To celebrate their new look, NatWest has laid on a series of events from 10:00 to 16:00 at Library Place today.
Customers are invited to join in for augmented reality tours of the new branch, and will also be able to enjoy virtual reality experiences where they will be transported to a number of locations around the world. Beresford Street Kitchen will be serving food and drinks throughout the day.
