Möbius, a brand new accountancy firm, launched this week with a drinks evening at the Museum Brasserie.
Founded by young local entrepreneur Hannah Mitchell, Möbius promises to offer an alternative to the large advisory and accountancy firms in the Island.
Ms Mitchell, former Financial Controller at Jersey Post, is excited about the venture: “It’s an exciting time to be launching a new business in Jersey, and we feel we are fulfilling a niche in the commercial sector that isn’t catered for.
“When running a business it is very easy to focus on the operational aspects and lose sight of the important financial controls. Our approach is to immerse ourselves in our clients’ business, to learn from the inside, and then to suggest ways to optimize business processes.
“We focus on ensuring that the right checks and measures are in place to keep a healthy balance sheet, which will help facilitate growth."
