New appointment to Ocorian's Executive Committee

Wednesday 13 September 2017

Ocorian has promoted Claire Le Brocq as Managing Director of Alternative Investments and appointed her to its Executive Committee.

Based in Jersey, Ms Le Brocq has over 20 years’ experience in the finance and investment industry including over 10 years of practice within private equity.

She is a specialist in Shari’ah Real Estate Structures and works with asset managers, across Europe and the Middle East, to manage the implementation and administration of bespoke fund structures for the Gulf Cooperation Council and Islamic investor market.

The firm says she has played a key role in developing Ocorian’s approach to regulatory governance, leading the development of specific policies and a practical procedural framework to ensure and demonstrate effective compliance.

Ms Le Brocq's internal promotion is one of 39 made across Ocorian’s eight international locations since 1 September.

Commenting on all new promotions Nick Cawley, CEO of Ocorian, said: "As the growth of Ocorian accelerates, we pride ourselves on having the best people in the industry who are able to develop, step-up, and contribute to the continued growth of our business.  These promotions are a testament to the hard work, commitment and above all, the talent across Ocorian."
