A communications agency founded in Guernsey has appointed a new Director in its Jersey office.
Orchard PR has appointed Laura Morel as the new Account and Business Development Director in Jersey.
In this newly-created role, Ms Morel will be responsible for strengthening Orchard's presence in Jersey and expanding its local client base.
She will also deliver strategic communications campaigns and expertise to the agency's existing clients.
Ms Morel has over eight years of marketing communications experience after an earlier career in financial services.
She was most recently the marketing lead at fiduciary firm HIGHVERN in Jersey.
Ms Morel said: "Like any business today, you can no longer look at one market in isolation but must be able to deliver and evolve a service proposition across borders and countries.
"I feel the strength and experience of our team will make the Orchard brand stand apart in the Channel Islands."
Brooke Kenyon, Orchard's Managing Director of Strategy, Agency and Growth, said: "Despite our close proximity, the business landscapes of each Channel Island remain distinct, with their own opportunities.
