Intertrust said the newly created role recognised, "...the importance of the London market for Intertrust’s international private wealth offering which is anchored in Guernsey and Jersey."

Ian Rumens, Intertrust’s Global Head of Private Wealth, commented: “Charlotte’s knowledge of the private wealth marketplace and her professional services expertise are exceptional and we’re confident that, under her guidance, Intertrust’s established private wealth offering will grow and develop in the years to come.

“The relationship between the Channel Islands and the UK, particularly for Private Wealth, is hugely important and having Charlotte in situ in London will give us an extra degree of understanding. Charlotte will be highlighting this mutually beneficial relationship and will demonstrate that Intertrust’s high-quality service is an excellent solution for clients.”

Mr Phipps-Hornby said that joining Intertrust represented "an exciting challenge" for her. She added: "Increasingly the next generation of high net worth individuals are entrepreneurs, with many having already started their own business.
