Ward Yates has appointed an English barrister and Jersey advocate with over 15 years' experience of litigation as its new Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution.
Dr Elena Moran will take on the role, while English solicitor Laura Le Meur is also joining the law firm as Senior Associate.
Commenting on her appointment, Dr Moran said she was "excited" to join Ward Yates.
"As a litigator specialising in contentious trusts and corporate disputes I look forward to offering clients a dispute resolution service that is in keeping with the firm's emphasis on technical quality and client responsiveness," she commented.
Victoria Yates, Founding Partner, said that she was "delighted" to welcome the pair to the firm, adding: "I'm confident that their significant legal experience and technical know-how will be a great asset to our team.
"From the start our clients have been asking us to provide contentious advice and so expanding our practice areas to include dispute resolution is particularly exciting."
