After a thorough tender process, LibertyBus have awarded Shooht the exclusive rights to sell all advertising on the interiors and exteriors of their fleet.

The contract will start in January 2016 but Shooht will be meeting with all current clients over the coming weeks to present new space and technological opportunities.

With recent investment in the fleet, including five new double deckers, LibertyBus are looking forward to working with Shooht to drive the advertising proposition forward with new spaces and investment in hi-tech solutions. Shooht has proposed a comprehensive technological build-out as part of the new contract including digital displays and screens ensuring an on-board digital footprint covering all the touch-points in the consumer journey.

Under the contract, Shooht will sell interior and exterior spaces on all bus routes in Jersey. The fleet now consists of 36 main fleet, 12 extended fleet, 11 double deckers and the school vehicles and serves over four million passengers a year. Shooht’s rate card is now available online at www.shooht.com and offers a significant expansion in placement choice and innovative solutions.

Shooht is managed by local businessman Jonathan Day who has grand designs to bring digital opportunities to the forefront of on-bus advertising campaigns. He says:  ‘We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious contract. LibertyBus have given us a fantastic opportunity to grow the advertising opportunities on their fleet and offer a great deal more to local businesses. We won’t just be focusing on big budget clients, we will be looking to assist new start-ups and smaller companies to increase their visibility too.

We are results centred and customer focused and this reflects the ethos of LibertyBus who serve their community with caring efficiency. We have a young, ambitious and enthusiastic team who are great ambassadors for customer service. We have identified many new space options for businesses already and are extremely excited to be investigating the option of internal TV screens and modern digital enhancements.’

Kevin Hart, LibertyBus General Manager, LibertyBus, said: "We are delighted to be beginning a new partnership that allows us to continue to grow revenue which will assist us in continuing to improve the Island’s bus service and invest more back into the local community."
