The Channel Islands Co-operative Society has appointed a new Chief Officer of Marketing and Membership.
In addition to directing the Society’s marketing activity and branding, Iain Beresford will be tasked with modernising the Co-op’s membership experience and engagement.
"It’s a genuinely exciting time to be joining the Society as the retail sector rapidly changes," he said. "Digital and in-store experiences are become increasingly seamless, so it’s a hugely interesting and challenging time to be redefining our marketing strategy.
"I will be focusing on enhancing customer engagement and creating an exceptional member experience and loyalty programme, with the Society’s values at the heart of our activity."
CEO Mark Cox added: "We are delighted to welcome Iain to the Co-op. He clearly shares the Society’s vision and values and our marketing and membership efforts are crucial to bringing these to life. I look forward to working alongside him as he brings his knowledge and experience to help us improve our engagement and relationship with members and customers."
