New owners for No 1 Recovery

Thursday 04 March 2021

One of the Channel Islands’ largest breakdown and recovery specialists is under new ownership.

Estate agent and local businessman John Quemard is the new owner and Chairman of 24-hour service No1 Recovery, which works with the AA, Green Flag, and RAC among other agencies.

“The business has come a long way in the last 30 years and we have built up an excellent reputation that is second to none. I am delighted that the business has been sold to a local family headed by John Quemard who will take the business forward under new management,” commented founder of the business Edward Pipon.

Mr Quemard added: “it is very exciting to be taking over a long established local business with such a high reputation within its industry.

“No 1 has the largest fleet of recovery vehicles in the Channel Islands. In addition to our other businesses, we hope to build on the success enjoyed to date and look forward to welcoming customers old and new as we invest and develop the business further.”
