Offshore law firm Carey Olsen has announced the appointment of Chris Griffin as a partner in its Jersey office.
Mr Griffin joined Carey Olsen as a senior associate in 2011 before being promoted to counsel in 2016.
He has played a key role in developing the firm's digital assets practice and, most recently, led the team advising ARC Fiduciary Limited on its Initial Coin Offering (ICO), working closely with the Jersey Financial Services Commission to deliver Jersey's first ICO.
Alex Ohlsson, managing partner of Carey Olsen's Jersey office, said: "We are pleased to welcome Chris to the partnership. Since joining Carey Olsen he has made a valuable contribution to our corporate and finance offering and is someone widely respected by clients and colleagues alike.
"The promotion represents the continued growth of our corporate team, particularly in our funds practice and the area of digital assets, and our commitment to delivering the highest level of client service."
