Friday 08 January 2016

Le Gallais and Luce have announced that Solicitor Marianne Shaw has been appointed a Partner at the firm.

Miss Shaw has been head of the Wills and Probate department at Le Gallais and Luce for several years, and started working at the firm - the oldest law firm in Jersey - in 2010.

She qualified as an English Solicitor in 2007 and as a Jersey Solicitor in March 2014.

Senior Partner Tony del Amo said that the partnership recognised Miss Shaw’s valuable contribution to the success of the firm over the last five years.

“Marianne will play a full and active part in helping to steer the future direction of the firm through her new role as a partner, where she will contribute fresh ideas and offer a new perspective,” he said.

Le Gallais and Luce was established in 1928 when Mr Hedley Luce went into partnership with Mr George Le Gallais - today, the firm has five partners and 26 staff, covering property, litigation, family law, wills and probate, commercial and notary services.
