New senior retail management role at pan-island business

Thursday 18 December 2014

SandpiperCI has created a senior role to manage the group’s national major clothing brands: George, Crew Clothing Co and the Jack Wills store in King Street.

The new Head of Clothing Franchises, Jersey born Clair Sequeira, has many years experience in clothing retail in the UK and the Island.

She developed her management experience with Marks and Spencer in the UK before moving back to Jersey 14 years ago to join Sandpiper’s local established M&S franchise.

Ms Sequeira's national and local experience has been key in developing the clothing ranges at Jersey’s Marks and Spencer stores and most recently she has played a significant role in the expansion of Sandpiper’s partnership with major UK clothing brands. Sandpiper expects to announce the arrival of another new major brand in the New Year.

Sandpiper’s CEO, Tony O’Neill said: “Clair has held a number of senior roles within our Marks and Spencer franchise and has significant expertise in product ranging and selection. I am delighted we are able to make an internal local appointment to lead this key part of our business. Clair’s new position will provide a cohesive link across all of our clothing brands and she’ll also consolidate the performance of our existing franchises.”
