Facilities Management OCS firm has appointed a new Managing Director - Jacquie Walby.
The company says that Mrs Walby has been responsible for multi-million pound projects, leading private, public and multi-sector teams working with schools, health services, hospitals, courts, custody suites and defence establishments.
Mrs Walby was director of strategic business development for OCS UK and previously director and partner at management and development firm Arkanum, a business specialising in the start-up and operation of new services on behalf of the UK's public sector.
Mrs Walby replaces former managing director Paul Timms.
Phil Taylor, Chairman of OCS Channel Islands, said: “We are confident that Jacquie’s vast experience in designing and implementing operational and organisational solutions, both in the private and public sector, will provide huge opportunities for OCS as we continue to build our capability and serviceability in the islands.”
Mrs Walby said: “It’s a great time to be joining OCS in the islands. We are investing considerably in our people and services to deliver the highest facilities management standards in the Channel Islands, in a safe and professional environment. Operationally we have broadened our services with the acquisition of Meadowcroft and we are also able to draw on the expertise of the OCS Group globally and in the UK.”
