Ogier acted for the buyer of the BHS site in King Street in the £18 million purchase that completed on Friday 26 August 2016.
The building's new owner plans to bring the Flannels brand to the Island and has said in separate statements that it plans to create 50 new jobs and that the store – one of the biggest on the Jersey high-street - will open by Christmas.
Flannels is a chain of high end designer stores throughout the UK that has been operating since 1976.
Partner Raulin Amy led Ogier's work on the deal, supported by consultant Chris Renouf and Senior Associate Alexander Curry.
Mr Amy said: "We were very pleased to work on this deal – the property is a prime retail site in St Helier, and this significant investment demonstrates confidence both in the Flannels brand and Jersey's retail sector."
