Local accountancy firm, Purpose, has announced that one of its team has just completed his professional qualifications.
After three years of study, George Green (24) is now qualified to practice as an Associate Chartered Accountant.
Mr Green joined Purpose six years ago after leaving Hautlieu. He was offered the role after successfully completing a work experience placement and subsequently completed a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification.
He said: “Purpose has been excellent at helping me progress with my career. The team supported me through all my exams, offering advice and study leave whenever I needed it. Working at a small company like Purpose means I get to see the processes from start to finish - it is great to see that what I am doing is directly helping our clients.”
Luke Smith, Purpose Managing Director, said: “We’re so proud of George for passing the ACA with all first time passes. He is humble, hungry, smart and the embodiment of what every small business needs in a member of its team. I've had the privilege of seeing him develop into the professional he is today all the way back from leaving school at 18 and it’s been a pleasure to support him through his training. I’m excited for the next stage of his career with us and him becoming a trusted advisor to clients he works with."
