Ravenscroft has appointed a new compliance officer in Jersey with more than 25 years’ experience.

Amanda Reilly has held several compliance roles in the banking industry and brings considerable regulatory experience to the position. She will be responsible for all aspects of compliance and anti-money laundering controls within Ravenscroft’s Jersey office.

Mrs Reilly will also be the primary contact for the Jersey Financial Services Commission and provide Ravenscroft’s board with robust guidance regarding Jersey laws, regulations and codes of practice.

‘In my new role I am looking forward to learning the mechanics of trading, as this will greatly enhance how I can ensure Ravenscroft is at the forefront regarding legislation and regulation, through which I hope to make a real contribution to on-going success of the company,’ said Mrs Reilly.

Mrs Reilly, who joins Ravenscroft from SG Hambros, has held senior compliance positions at Santander and Pershing (Channel Islands); she also previously worked at Barclays where she spent 12 years and formerly held positions at Bank of Scotland International.

Haydn Taylor, chief executive officer, Ravenscroft Jersey, said: ‘As a compliance specialist, Amanda has had a very successful career; I am thrilled that Ravenscroft has attracted someone of her calibre to join the business. Ravenscroft operates within an ever-evolving regulatory landscape and Amanda will help to steer the company through Jersey’s compliance environment.’

An Associate Member of the Institute of Financial Services, Mrs Reilly holds a number of professional qualifications, including international diplomas in both compliance and anti money laundering through the International Compliance Association, of which she is also a member.
