RBC Wealth Management has been recognised by mental health charity, Mind, in its Workplace Wellbeing Index Awards, with a Gold Award for putting mental health at the heart of its policies and practices and its long-term commitment to staff mental health.
Gail McCourt, Head of Fiduciary Management at RBC Wealth Management, won the Senior Leader Award, recognising her ongoing dedication to championing and promoting good mental health at work.
RBC Wealth Management was one of 75 organisations recognised at the charity’s second annual event. The Workplace Wellbeing Index is a benchmark of best policy and practice that celebrates the good work employers are doing to promote and support positive mental health.
Commenting on the double win, Mrs McCourt said: “I’m fortunate to work for an organisation committed to tackling challenging issues among our staff, clients and the communities in which we operate. Diversity and inclusion are among RBC’s core values and mental health is integral to that. Our mechanisms to support staff wellbeing have had a tremendous impact across the firm.
“Both awards RBC Wealth Management has received from Mind are testament to our dedication to tackling the stigma around mental health, and creating a healthier and more productive environment for staff.”
