Senior appointments at Highvern Trustees

Friday 08 September 2017

Highvern Trustees has made two senior promotions within its private client trust business in Jersey with the appointment of two new Associate Directors.

Ross Collins has been appointed as Associate Director within Highvern’s newly formed Family Office Services team, while Magdelena Gruell has been promoted to the role of Associate Director in the Middle East and Central Europe team.

Mr Collins has over 16 years' experience within the trust industry in Jersey and is a qualified Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. In recent years, he has worked closely with a number of Highvern’s ultra-high-net worth Middle Eastern families and has increasingly become a key co-ordinator for them and their third party advisors and agents.

Ms Gruell has worked with Highvern for the past eight years and is a qualified trust and estates practitioner (TEP). During her time at Highvern, she has worked with a wide range of clients from the UK residents, the Middle East and Central Europe. She has experience in working with complex structures holding a diverse range of assets as well as an ability to help clients navigate their way through an array of tax and legal issues.

Martin Hall, Managing Director of Highvern, commented: "Ross and Magda’s promotions to Associate Director are a recognition of the commitment and professionalism that they have shown both to Highvern Trustees and to its clients over several years.  At Highvern we believe that continuity of service is key and we are delighted to be able to nurture  and recognise the talent within the business. Both Ross and Magda have great careers ahead of them and crucially they are also great mentors to our trust managers and administrators.”
