Carey Olsen corporate lawyer David Allen has been promoted to counsel in the firm's Jersey office.
Mr Allen has worked on a number of high profile transactions in his career to date and his practice has a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, international listings of Jersey companies and Jersey schemes of arrangement.
Mr Allen has advised on the listing of Jersey companies in the UK, US and Chinese markets including the recent listing of Sanne Group plc on the main board of the London Stock Exchange and the listing of Delphi Automotive plc on the New York Stock Exchange.
He also advised on the complex sales of FRM to Man Group and CPA Global to Cinven which were both achieved by way of Jersey schemes of arrangement.
Mr Allen joined Carey Olsen in 2009 prior to which he trained and practised corporate law at the London office of international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He qualified as a Jersey advocate in December 2014.
