Series of promotions at Ogier

Friday 03 August 2018

Ogier has promoted five lawyers and two members of its business services team in its Jersey office as part of the firm's global mid-year promotions.

Sevyn Kalsi (pictured) of Private Client and Trusts has been promoted to managing associate, while Rebekah Agyeman and Euan Hutcheon of Corporate and Commercial, and Jennifer Cox and Tara O'Driscoll of Banking and Finance have all been promoted to senior associate.

Meanwhile, Ainsley Le Poidevin has been promoted to Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement and Kelsey de Freitas has been promoted to Talent and Development Advisor within the Senior Technical department.

Advocate Raulin Amy, Ogier's Jersey Practice Partner, said that each of the promotions was well-deserved. "We are very pleased to be announcing promotions which reflect the hard work and dedication across our legal teams and our business services support teams," he said.

"Sevyn, Rebekah, Jennifer, Euan and Tara are building well-deserved reputations for technical excellence and outstanding client service – while Ainsley and Kelsey are all relatively recent arrivals in our business services teams who have demonstrated quickly that they are ready to take on more senior roles within the organisation, working with our colleagues across our global locations.

"Having added new partners in our Hong Kong and Guernsey offices in the last few weeks, our growth continues – recognising and developing the talent within the firm is a key part of that growth and on behalf of all of the partners, I am very pleased to congratulate our colleagues on their success and recognition."
