A festival dedicated to showcasing Jersey’s jewellery and watch offering has been crowned Customer Event of the Year at Retail Jeweller's UK Jewellery Awards.
Organisers of the Brilliance Festival, Jersey Pearl Director Julia Williams and Rivoli Director Melanie Mayer, accepted the award at a ceremony in London on behalf of all those involved in the two-week festival last October.
"This is what can be achieved when whole areas and local businesses work together towards a common goal. The Brilliance – Jersey jewellery and watch festival should grab the attention of everyone in the jewellery sector," judges commented.
Helping make it possible was support from Visit Jersey's Incubator Marketing Fund and main sponsor Rossborough Private Client.
Meryl Laisney, Head of Marketing and Product at Visit Jersey, said: "We congratulate the Brilliance Festival on this fantastic achievement, which not only raises awareness of the island's vibrant jewellery and watch industry but also showcases things to do in Jersey outside of the summer season.
"Visit Jersey was delighted to support the Festival through the Events Jersey Incubator Marketing Fund and we look forward to seeing the event grow and evolve for years to come."
The festival will be back again this year from 22 October, with Rossborough Private Client joining once again as main sponsor.
