'Strategic' changes have been made to the leadership team at Jersey Water, with the appointment of a new Chief Water Operations Officer and Non-Executive Director.
After almost a decade with the company, the former Head of Strategic Operations, Mark Manton, has been promoted to Chief Water Operations Officer.
He joined Jersey Water in 2015, and, in his most recent role, oversaw the operation of the island's Desalination Plant, working on future expansion and upgrades.

Meanwhile, Andy Isham will be joining Jersey Water’s Board as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee.
With over 25 years' experience in commercial businesses, he replaces Anthony Ferrar and Jo Dow, who stood down from the Board this year.

Heather MacCallum, Chair of Jersey Water, said that these appointments will ensure that the company's future objectives are delivered.
"These changes are part of our broader strategy to strengthen our senior leadership with additional local expertise and talent from within our existing Jersey Water team," she said.
"The addition to our Board of Andy Isham combined with Mark Manton’s leadership appointment, positions us well to ensure that we can deliver on our strategic objectives and, most importantly, continue to provide high-quality services for our customers and safeguard the Island’s water needs.”
Commenting on his promotion, Mark Manton said: “I am extremely passionate about Jersey Water and the critical services that we provide for the island so I feel very honoured to be stepping into this new role.
"I am looking forward to joining the Executive team and working alongside them to lead the outstanding team of people we have at Jersey Water, who make it all possible. My principal intent will always be to make sure that we continue to deliver clean, safe drinking water for our island.”
On his appointment as non-executive director, Andy Isham added: “I am delighted to be joining the Board of Jersey Water. I look forward to being part of the experienced team and working to ensure the sustainability and development of the company so that we continue to meet the needs of our unique Island both now and in the future.”
