Sure Opens Doors to New Interactive Store

Tuesday 02 June 2015

Sure has today opened the doors to its new store on King Street designed to ‘wow’ islanders by offering a completely new shopping experience in St Helier.

The new store which is on the corner of New Street and King Street promises to give customers a new digitally interactive shopping experience that helps them choose the phone and plans they want as well as self-serve top-up and bill payment kiosks, which will dramatically reduce queue time.

“This is a fantastic day for Sure and our customers,” said Lisa Mclauchlan, Head of Commercial Operations at Sure.

“I’d like to congratulate the team who have worked so hard to design and deliver this new shopping experience, which really does raise the standard in retail in St Helier.

The store is designed in a series of zones, each one giving our customers access to the services they need during their visit, they can be in and out quickly if they want or can spend more time with our staff finding out about our products and services.

We have done all we can to reduce queue times but if customers do find that they need to wait, then we have provided a lounge at the back of the store, replete with comfortable seating, refreshments, a TV and iPads for people to enjoy whilst waiting for an assistant.

Sure has installed large 55-inch touchscreens which enable customers to put together their own packages, compare phones or simply email information to themselves that can be perused at their own leisure.

In addition to the interactive touchscreens, the new shop has been given a very modern makeover with stunning video screens wrapped around the interior. These screens are designed not only to deliver marketing messages but will also engage customers by serving up a few personalised surprises as well.
