Tassili awarded Three Rosettes at AA Hospitality Awards

Thursday 14 January 2016

The team at Grand Jersey is celebrating at Tassili after it retained its three AA Rosette rating in the 2016 edition of the AA Restaurant Guide.

The AA announces the winners of its three, four and five rosette awards twice a year, in January and September.

Winners are selected in recognition of excellence and success within their award category, proving their dedication to raising industry standards and enhancing both their guest and diner experiences.

Commenting on the news Martin Kelly, General Manager of Grand Jersey said: “It is a fantastic achievement to have retained this esteemed accolade and of course this is testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence in all that we do at Grand Jersey, particularly that of our Executive Head Chef Nicolas Valmagna who joined the team just 12 months ago.

"We are thrilled with the news and look forward to welcoming friends and guests to enjoy the sensational seasonal menus at Tassili throughout 2016.”

Simon Numphud, the outgoing head of AA Hotel Services said: "The restaurants receiving the multi rosette awards should be duly proud of their achievements.

"Around just 10% of the restaurants in our guide have three rosettes. These are outstanding restaurants that demand recognition well beyond their local area offering sympathetic treatment of the highest quality ingredients with consistent timing, seasoning and judgement of flavour.”

Tassili will reopen for 2016 on Tuesday 26th January.
