Third top IFC Award for Jersey

Jersey has won the award for ‘Best International Finance Centre’ (IFC) at the WealthBriefing MENA Awards 2019 for the third consecutive year.

The panel of judges said Jersey's submission had been "quite excellent" and “demonstrated its work on differentiating its offering from others and in highlighting the role it takes in providing innovative regulatory leadership.

"They are a very worthy winner," they added.

The win, Jersey Finance said, is a clear testament to the time and investment it has put into nurturing links with the region – particularly in light of being the first IFC to open an office in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) last year as well as the quality and expertise delivered by Jersey financial services firms to clients in the region.

“The MENA region has always been incredibly important to Jersey as an IFC and we have continued to nurture and invest in this ongoing and strengthening relationship" Joe Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer, Jersey Finance, said. 

"Our establishment of an office in the DIFC last year really cemented this link and we have been working together with professionals in the region to stay ahead of developments in the industry and in bringing relevant products to market. I’m very proud that Jersey has won this award yet again, and I look forward to seeing our links with the MENA region flourish well into the future.”
