The winners were presented with an engraved glass trophy and £825 worth of BA travel vouchers, or £1,200 for the top diploma student.

Welcoming some 250 industry professionals to a black tie dinner at the Royal Yacht Hotel, branch Chair Naomi Rive said: "This has been a milestone year for the branch as we celebrated our 25th anniversary. To mark the occasion we funded a bursary in the sum £12,000 to three students studying in Jersey for a financial services degree; we held a celebratory AGM and tea party which was attended by the Chief Executive of STEP, George Hodgson; and tonight we celebrate the success of those students who have excelled in their professional exams.

"As well as congratulating the worthy award winners I would also like to pay tribute to the employers in the wealth management sector who encourage and support their people through long periods of training towards the STEP professional qualifications."
