Jersey’s key tourism promotion body has appointed two new Non-Executive Directors.

Claire Bentley, Managing Director of British Airways Holidays, and Daniel Rowles, CEO of Jersey-based digital marketing consultancy Target Internet, joined the Visit Jersey Board on 24 October following the departure of Catherine Leech and Tim Crowley.

Claire Bentley has worked in the travel industry for 30 years, holding an interest in business growth and customer experience, and became the managing director of British Airways Holidays in 2001.

Daniel Rowles has been working in Digital Marketing and Digital Transformation over 20 years. He is CEO of TargetInternet.com, Programme Director for Imperial College Business School and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

He has helped various organisations use digital technologies effectively, including VisitBritain, VisitWales, Visit Scotland, Tourism South East and the Dorchester Collection.

Visit Jersey Chair, Lisa Springate, said: "We were impressed by the quality of the candidates who came forward during this exciting time for tourism, and we are delighted to welcome Claire and Daniel to the Visit Jersey Board.

"Their leadership and strategic skill sets will strengthen Visit Jersey as we work to deliver a dynamic and sustainable visitor economy."
