Win a brand new car at this year’s Jersey International Motoring Festival

Wednesday 01 June 2016

To help mark its 90th anniversary celebrations, Falles Motor Group will be giving away a brand new hatchback car at this year’s Jersey International Motoring Festival.

Falles will be hosting a range of activities and entertainment at this year’s show (which runs from the 2nd to the 5th of June) to mark the anniversary, including offering visitors the chance to win a white Dacia Sandero by correctly guessing the number of balloons inside the car.

The person who guesses the correct number of balloons, or the closest to the correct number, will receive the keys to the car at a special presentation ceremony being held later in June.

Falles chairman, Helier Falle, said: "As it’s our 90th year, we wanted our stand for this year’s motor show to be extra special.

"It’s going to be a great occasion, with lots of family entertainment and other activities for car enthusiasts and locals alike to enjoy. Our ‘guess the number of balloons in the car’ competition will add an extra layer of excitement to the weekend’s activities, and will make the Falles stand one not to be missed on your visit to People’s Park next weekend.

"We are proud to have been taking care of Jersey motorists for 90 years, and to help us celebrate we would be delighted to welcome our valued customers and the wider community to join in the fun at our stand at the motor show next weekend."

In addition to the car giveaway, Falles will be offering free face painting and balloons for children, and a mechanic will be giving live car demonstrations showing people how to do basic car servicing such as checking oil levels and changing tyres. Falles will also be displaying its collection of photos and memorabilia from the company’s 90th year history in a special exhibition throughout the weekend.
