Leading Jersey law firm, Appleby, is continuing to invest in its market-leading property team with the appointment of David Le Brocq who has joined the firm as Conveyancing Manager.

Leading Jersey law firm, Appleby, is continuing to invest in its market-leading property team with the appointment of David Le Brocq who has joined the firm as Conveyancing Manager. 

Mr Le Brocq will lead on commercial conveyancing services, specialising in all aspects of Jersey-based commercial property work and providing vital support to Appleby’s dedicated property partners Tim Hart and Andrew Pim.

Tim Hart, who leads the Global Property Team at Appleby, said: “David has a wealth of experience in commercial property law including property development, commercial leases and acquisitions and disposals. Our goal is to ensure we are equipped to respond to the changing needs of our clients in this challenging economic environment and David’s skills will complement our existing expertise whilst adding strength and depth to our growing team. I am very pleased to welcome him as the latest member of the property team.”

Mr Le Brocq brings over 16 years of experience to the Conveyancing Manager post, having previously worked for several leading Jersey law firms including a Jersey-based international firm. David has represented individuals, property developers, commercial organisations and financial institutions on residential and commercial property transactions and associated financing.

Commenting on his move to Appleby, David said: “I am looking forward to this new challenge and am delighted to be joining a team that shows such commitment to its commercial property clients.”

David Le Brocq graduated from the University of Nottingham Trent with an LLB (Hons) and has an extensive working knowledge of French.
