Brooks Macdonald investment manager Adam Greaves has been named one of the UK’s ‘Top 30 under 30’ in the UK wealth industry, in a list compiled by leading industry publication Citywire. Adam is the only Channel Islands based professional to make it onto the list for the second year running. He was listed alongside Brooks Macdonald investment director Edward Park.

The final list is based on a combination of professional qualifications, academic achievements and the responsibilities the individuals hold at their companies. The finalists are selected for excelling in their field and having a tangible impact on their employers.

Based in Brooks Macdonald’s Jersey office, Adam manages bespoke discretionary portfolios on behalf of a range of clients. He has a particular focus on South Africa and is approved as a Representative by the South African Financial Services Board.

Adam holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification, the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Member of the CISI. Prior to joining Brooks Macdonald, Adam spent time at Ernst and Young as an Executive where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Darren Zaman, Chief Executive Officer, International at Brooks Macdonald, commented: “We are pleased that Adam has received this accolade for the second year running. Adam continues to make a significant contribution to our growing discretionary investment business, particularly as our presence increases in South Africa. We are committed to employing young local talent and Adam is a great example of the success of our graduate training scheme for Channel Islands residents.”
