Funds professionals in Jersey will be entertained by top British impressionist Jon Culshaw at the Jersey Funds Association (JFA) annual dinner in April.

Jon, who boasts over 350 different voices covering politicians, commentators and celebrities, will be guest speaker at the dinner, whose lead sponsor is bespoke fund administration and custody services specialist Kleinwort Benson.

Kindly sponsored by JTC Group, Jon has hosted three of his own series on the BBC, as well as holding regular guest spots on various shows. He made international headlines in 1998 when his William Hague impression fooled the telephone operators at Downing Street, who put him through to Prime Minister at the time, Tony Blair.

Taking place on Friday 4th April at the Royal Jersey Showground, the event will also feature musical entertainment both during and after dinner. The black tie event, which regularly attracts over 400 people, will begin at 6.45pm with a champagne reception, sponsored by IPES while silver sponsors include BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Moore, and Mourant Ozannes.

Ben Robins, Chairman of the Jersey Funds Association, commented:

“The JFA dinner has always provided a good occasion to reflect on the hard work of those professionals who contribute so much to the island’s funds industry. That will equally be the case this year, as we consider how strongly we as an industry have helped position Jersey in this year of AIFMD transition. The dinner is a fantastic chance to celebrate our industry’s successes in what has been a challenging year and, with that in mind, I am looking forward to welcoming Jon Culshaw and our musical entertainers to Jersey for what looks set to be an outstanding evening. The dinner is always popular so I encourage people to book as soon as possible.”

Tickets for the event are £75.00 per person and tables can be booked by emailing Caroline Harrington at enquiries@jerseyfunds.org
