With the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon just under three weeks away the excitement is growing! Organisers are looking forward to welcoming thousands of runners to the Marathon, Ravenscroft Relay Race and Marathon Mile sponsored by Jersey Development Company.
This event is one of the largest community events in Jersey’s sporting calendar and the importance of course marshals cannot be emphasised enough. Organisers are urgently seeking 100 course marshals to help operate a safe and successful event on Sunday 3 October. This fundraising event could not take place without the valuable support from our volunteer course marshals and we are hugely grateful for the time which our volunteers donate to our event each year.
Our volunteer marshals will be stationed all over the course, ensuring our runners are safely following the route along with giving our runners a big cheer as they run past. Volunteering at the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon gives you the opportunity to be involved in the amazing atmosphere at this fun, community event.
