The Race the Runway charity event planned for this Thursday (21 September) has been postponed for a week.
he event is being held to raise money for Every Child Our Future and has been postponed because the weather forecast for this week is looking very unsettled, with thunderstorms and high winds predicted. This may affect operations at the airport, resulting in a late closure of the airfield, and could also be uncomfortable for runners.
The event has been rescheduled for Thursday 28 September 2023 with registration between 8pm and 8.50pm, and the race starting at 9.30pm
All existing participants have been informed of the postponement, and if they can’t make the revised date they can donate their entry fees toEvery Child Our Future, request a refund, or request a deferral via Race Nation.
