Leading independent fund and corporate services provider, the Aztec Group, has appointed private equity expert, Gavin Hayman, as a Director in their Guernsey office.
Gavin will form part of the team responsible for developing and leading the delivery of the Aztec Group’s private equity fund services’ client proposition in Guernsey. Day-to-day he will ensure the effective management of client relationships for both the Guernsey office and across the firm’s other jurisdictions. As a new member of the local executive team, Gavin will support the leadership team in shaping the Group’s strategic direction.
Gavin joined the Aztec Group from Ipes, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the past eight years. A member of the Ipes board, Gavin previously played an active role in developing the company’s finance strategy as well as leading the financial modelling for all their regulatory Group applications, product launches and budgets.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Gavin also holds an honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.
Aztec Group has been operating in Guernsey since 2007 and now employs over 110 people on the Island. The company specialises in the provision of fund and corporate services to alternative investment managers.
