Les Quennevais School is opening its doors on Sunday to offer support to parents and students following the death of a pupil.
The police are investigating the death of the teenage boy, who died of his injuries following an incident on the sand dunes in St Brelade on Friday evening. The emergency services worked together to try to save the boy's life but he later died.
The police don't yet know how he was fatally wounded but they're not treating it as suspicious at the moment. His family have been notified.
A police spokesman said: "Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time."
The school will be open between 12 noon and 2 pm.
