Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault at 03:20 on Sunday morning on Bagatelle Road in the area of St Saviours School.
It involved two men, one of whom was the victim. A police statement today read: “We would like to speak to a female who was in the area at the time and shouted at the suspect to stop when he assaulted the victim.”
Any witnesses to the incident can call the police on 612612 or anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
