This weekend is your last chance to watch Jersey Green Room Theatre Company’s high-energy performance of Shrek the Musical, which will close its curtains for the final time on Sunday.

A faint green ogre, witches, pigs, Pinocchio, bears and a donkey are just some of the characters that appear in the latest production from the Jersey Green Room Club – an all-singing all-dancing, all-burping adaptation of Shrek the Musical.
The show tells the story of a misunderstood ogre on a mission to rescue the sassy Princess Fiona... but will there be a fairytale ending?
The show based on the Oscar-winning Dreamworks 2001 animation, and is being performed by the Green Room Club at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.

A family-friendly exhibition which explores Jersey's relationship with the land through artwork in various mediums continues this week.
'The Land & Us | La Tèrre et Nous' has been developed by ArtHouse Jersey in collaboration with local artist Alexander Mourant and partner artists.
The organisers said: "Travelling from our ancient neolithic past, when the land was a sacred site of ritual, through our farming traditions, oral histories and earthly language of Jèrriais, to our woodlands, indigenous species and pathways that encircle the island, The Land and Us is a place to gather and reflect on the natural world."
The exhibition runs until Sunday 5 May at ArtHouse Jersey's Capital House in St Helier.
Islanders can join writer and storyteller Paul Journeaux for a storytelling session in The Land & Us exhibition space at Capital House this Sunday.
Participants will explore artwork and share personal experiences to create a group story.

Art House Jersey is calling on local artists to join a public art project at the town marina.
It will be centred around the theme of water with workshops planned In May and June to guide participants.
The project aims to revitalise Elizabeth Marina, explore the island's connection to water, and engage the community.
Five to six artists will be commissioned to each work on a triptych – a work of art divided into three sections – incorporating three arches.
The project will be sponsored by Jersey Water, with support from Jersey Community Foundation and funding from the Channel Islands Lottery.
It will be developed by the Art in the Frame Foundation, in partnership with The Harbour Gallery Jersey and Ports of Jersey.

Islanders can also visit a photography exhibition called Fleeting Moments by Marcin Pajakat at The Harbour Gallery.
The exhibition documents the "changing faces of Jersey", which are captured in a series of subtle portrayals of the island's atmosphere.
The organisers said: "These photographs are not only images but narratives, telling stories of the ever-changing environment and the enchantment associated with the briefest of moments."
Known under the pseudonym DarkLight Photography, Marcin Pajak is a photographer specialising in event, portrait and product photos with a special interest in landscapes.
The exhibition will run at The Harbour Gallery at Commercial Buildings until 21 April.
Islanders can experience the music of Ariana Grande performed live by international tribute artist Amy G at the Merton Hotel in St Saviour this Sunday from 15:00.
The show will convert all the greatest hits including Into You, Break Free, Thank u Next, One Last Time, and more.
The organisers said: "Amy’s stage presence and vocal ability match the pop princess, and she offers a performance that is authentic, energetic and unforgettable."

A new series of guitar-based gigs aimed at enriching the local music scene with events that prioritise local talent are set to launch tomorrow.
The first 'Fest in the West' event will feature six bands at the Pomme D'Or Hotel this Saturday 13 April, with profits being reinvested into production and shared among performers.
Event organiser Greg Winch said that he hopes to work with other promoters, venues, artists, and bands in the future to make the grassroots Jersey music scene "as vibrant and exciting as possible".
The lineup for the first event includes headliners 88 Bunkface, known for their punky energetic performances, as well as other local acts such as Gunslinger, Without Captain, Kickbacks, Jaded Things, and an acoustic set by Lexi of August Gone.
Despite plans for the gig at the Rugby Club, unforeseen circumstances led to a venue change to the Pomme D'Or Hotel's Golden Apple suite — hence why the event is called 'Fest in the West – Comes to Town!'

Two rock bands, Howl and Electric Head, are playing at the Blue Note Bar tomorrow with free entry.
