Autism Jersey are looking for adventurous, outdoorsy, islanders to join their fundraising trek to the Lost City of Teyuna.
The City, built over 1,500 and last inhabited in the 16 century, is nestled in The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains in Colombia.
Cloaked in dense rainforest, the trek to reach the lost city will cross overgrown muddy trails, river valleys and cross paths with the indigenous Kogui communities, descendants of the city's original builders.
There are 1,200 steps leading up to the lost city.
Autism Jersey are hoping to take an intrepid band of islanders through the jungles of Colombia in aid of their work supporting islanders and their families with the condition.

Dr Helen Miles, Trustee of Autism Jersey who is joining the trek with her husband Richard, said: "Autism Jersey trekkers have already explored the more ‘traditional’ expeditions to Jordan, Kilimanjaro, Morocco and Machu Picchu so we were looking for a new, unique challenge that had not been on offer to Jersey trekkers before.
"Our trek partners, Discover Adventure recommended the Lost City trek to Colombia. It certainly ticks all the boxes for us; a tough challenge that combines rainforest adventure, natural beauty, and trekking through indigenous communities to discover remote, ancient ruins.
"This will be another opportunity to challenge ourselves to do something very different to raise money for an important cause. It will be an awesome challenge and we are really looking forward to an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime adventure."
