Bargain hunters invited to brewery yard sale

Friday 01 November 2019

A local brewery is calling for “upcyclers, art and memorabilia hunters or those just looking for a bargain” to have a rummage through their wares at a yard sale this weekend.

Randalls is clearing out their stores and holding another “ever popular” sale this weekend to flog goods and even cases of wine that they have accumulated over the years.

The sale will be taking place at their old brewery site at Clare Street, which they are planning to transform into a “multi-million” housing development.

Managing Director Gavin Reid told Express: “We are holding the yard sale to make space in our stores. Vast amounts of furniture, bric-a-brac, books, pictures have been accumulated over the years as we have emptied some of our pubs when they are going to be refurbished.

“I hate parting with it as you never know when it will come back around and be en vogue again, however I finally must concede given the need for space!”

Mr Reid also said that they will be selling off some cases of Bin Ends wine as well “so there will be something for everyone".

The sale will take place from 14:00 until 17:00 tomorrow (Saturday 2 November).
