A car veered off the road at St Aubin yesterday, narrowly missing the petanque court and smashing into a wall.
The white Honda Jazz crossed the metal barrier and crashed into the wall, outside the former NatWest Bank.
The incident happened at 15:30 yesterday and the driver, an 81-year-old male, was taken to hospital.
